Welcome to Burton
Burton is not just a place to live—it’s a thoughtfully woven community nestled within the basin of the Chattahoochee National Forest, where lake, land, and lifestyle converge. Framed by over 60 miles of pristine Lake Burton shoreline, this retreat is defined by its quiet sophistication, deep connection to nature, and a shared commitment to preserving the beauty that surrounds it.
“Architecture that is a blessing on the landscape, not a blight” - Lew Oliver’s words, and our commitment to harmonize with the beauty and vitality of our natural surroundings. We celebrate every hill, pond, stream, and mountain peak, strategically placing buildings and public spaces to preserve the wilderness. Our homes, thoughtfully designed, become personal sanctuaries where residents can connect with nature’s energy from their rooftops, balconies, porches, and courtyards. We’re not just building homes, we’re crafting a lifestyle in tune with nature.
Burton is a place full of wonder. With over 60 miles of shoreline, Lake Burton is one of the most beautiful lakes in Georgia. Days here are spent making a splash at the natural waterslide known as Sliding Rock, exercising on kayaks or paddleboards, tubing down Wildcat Creek, fishing for trout or bass in one of our 3 ponds, or a mile of private trout stream shoreline.
